In the process of learning Processing, I practiced the circle changing with the mouse, which reminded me of the change of bubbles in the gas with the height. The changes of different air pressure and bubbles reminded me of the phenomenon of modern academic pressure. Compared with different eras, the same work and living standards require today’s graduates to have higher and higher academic qualifications to obtain, which makes people fall into the pressure circle of academic qualification improvement. Combined with the image of Processing, a related academic qualification map was made. With the changes in different eras and quality of life, the graphics were cut into each other to generate some new graphics, combined with the modern life pressure, to complete a concept manual.

Inspired by atmospheric pressure variation diagrams, this project constructs a coordinate system based on era and quality of work and life. The circles symbolize the academic degrees and qualifications individuals need to obtain in order to maintain their social and professional positions. By selecting different coordinates and comparing the changes in the bubbles, viewers can directly experience the continuously increasing academic pressure in contemporary society, as well as the structural dilemma caused by the gradual devaluation of academic credentials.
